Well the Paci fairy finally made a visit to our house. I had heard of such a thing everywhere from some of my friends who had used her, to our pediatrician, to Rosie O'Donnell so I figured if so many people had success, maybe just maybe it would work for us too.
Our run-in with the fairy came a little sooner than planned, though, when Ainslee lost her last paci! She was forced to go to sleep without it that night. Well after she went to bed, we found the lost paci, but decided instead of telling her, we'd just let the paci fairy take it away and leave a big girl present in its place. Ainslee had a trunk of dress-up clothes waiting on her bed for her when she got home that next afternoon.
She loved wearing the earrings, necklace, bangles, tiara, high heels, and fairy wings. The set also came with a few dresses, but she wasn't as interested in those.

I've heard about the paci fairy too. I'm sure we will need to use it for Will and figure out a way to use it to get maddie to stop sucking her thumb and holding her night-night. Good job getting her to give it up!
